The Rules This RPG is meant to be fun so lets keep it that way. Try to make it realistic and fun. Im at the RPG first because im into Gundams and i want to meet new people.. Some simple ground rules are....Try to keep language to a minimum but it is allowed. Just dont get too serious, Most decisions are final unless the senate over turns it. Dont debate an argument unless you can back it up. Try to keep the RPG running Smooth. SECTION 1: Pilots. Lets say that your Duo Maxwell. During most RPG situations. Your him. Your not whoever you are in real life. Your Duo the gundam Pilot. When you are yourself try to distinguish a bit like saying your OOC or Out of Character. Section 2: Abbreviations. There are many abbreviations that you should learn within the first or second week of your membership in the rpg. They become very important later on. LR = Long range SR = Short Range DE = Defense ST = Strength RT = Reaction Time SP = Speed FD = Final Damage D= Damage Section 3: Battles This is the main part of your RPG experience. Most of the time you will find someone online during the day who wants to battle. The basics for battle are very generally stated here. One of the moderators of the RPG will try to find some time to teach you how to actually battle in the rpg. Your Strength is basically your hitpoints. When your hit points reach Zero or below, the battle is over. Your DEfense, Short Range, and Long range are tied together. the basic equation for calculating damage is as follows. Final Damage = Base Damage + Weapon Bonus - Defense. Your base damage is your gundams SR or LR number with a weapons bonus added on. Then you subtract your enemies defense from that number to figure out the final damage. Now say that it ends up you do Zero or negative damage. Then the Final damage is 1. Now comes speed. Speed is basically the number of times you can dodge or change ranges in battle. Say you have a speed of 12. You can dodge 12 attacks and change ranges no times. You can dodge 5 attacks and change ranges 7 times. Some attacks are known as Unconditional or Unblockable.. There are some big differences. Unconditional means that if a weapon does 6 damage unconditionally. It is 6 damage no matter what. Unconditional is dodgeable though. Unblockable is calculated normally but the opponent cannot dodge.. Section 4: Specials Each Gundam has their own special moves. They may be Sr or Lr and do extensive damage that usually totally destroy the opponent. The way a special works is that every turn, a player gains 1charge counter. Certain special manuevers require certain charge counts. When seomone uses a special, the Charge counter resets to ZERO no matter how many counters they had. Specials cannot be dodged unless stated by the move.. Also another special move is self-destruct. It requires no charge but i destroys you and your opponent. The opponent can dodge. Section 5: Upgrading Besides stat upgrades and weapons, you can also get full upgrades, which bring all stats up, make new weapons available, etc. Ep, Mc, and Vy can't full upgrade. An example of full upgrade is Wing to Wing Zero. For more information please look at the weapon shops Section 6: Organizations Each organization gets a weekly budget of 10000 credits which can be put towards the purchase of defenses for the organization. The organization cannot give out its budget money to members unless the member has completed a mission and has to be compensated. Section 7: Missions This will be more thoroughly explained in the mission section. Section 8: Training The RPG has 2 types of training. The Rpg training puts your character on standby for a certain amount of time depending on the training. You are not allowed to do rpg stuff during that period. Feel free to chat OOC..the second type is by a designated trainer. This person will train you on stuff that is not covered by this rules section.
